“Bored Ape Metaverse Frenzy Raised Millions, Crashes Ethereum” a recent headline news from Bloomberg makes Bored Ape Yacht Club at the centre of the NFT universe Again!

In early September 2021, 101 digital images of cartoon apes from a series called The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) sold for a total of $24.4 million at Sotheby’s Auction House. The transaction capped off a stunning summer rise that had seen the BAYC images grow in value from $236 (0.08ETH) at launch to $400,000, more than several thousand-fold since they had been produced just four and a half months earlier.
